  Check Services

Providing the right payment choices for your customers is very important in today's competitive marketplace. A check guarantee service can be a simple and economical way to increase revenue at your place of business. Checks are a popular form of payment and are the preferred non-cash payment method at the retail point-of-sale. If you limit check payments you may be limiting sales.

Check Guarantee
With guarantee service your business can accept out-of-town and out-of-state checks, safely and with less risk. With a guarantee service in place, checks are approved at the point-of-sale in seconds following simple instructions. If an approved check is returned from the bank unpaid, it can be submitted for processing and reimbursement allowing you to concentrate on sales, not on collections.

Check Conversion
With check conversion, with each authorized check, funds are electronically processed and automatically deposited into the merchant’s account. And since conversion alone can’t preclude NSF items, the service can be enhanced to include guarantee. With funds automatically placed into the merchant’s account, the need to fill-out daily deposit slips and travel to the bank is reduced.

PinnaclePay partners with CrossCheck, www.cross-check.com to provide check solutions to our retail merchants.   And, we partner with Authorize.net, www.authorize.net and others to provide ecommerce check solutions.

  Debit Cards (pin-based)

PinnaclePay Merchant Services offers comprehensive PIN-based and signature-based debit card processing so your customers can use their bank ATM cards and check cards to pay for goods and services. Debit card transactions today count for 35% of all card-based transactions. Industry analysts anticipate the total number of electronic debit payments will be greater than the total number of cash and check transactions in 2008.

PIN-based transactions occur at the point of sale, and are defined by the entry of a PIN (Personal Identification Number) by the cardholder. Also referred to as online debit. Signature debit, also referred to as offline debit, is the use of a check card issued by a bank and with a Visa or Mastercard logo. During the transaction, the cardholder can elect to use the card as Debit (PIN-based) or Credit (Signature-based).

PinnaclePay Merchant Services supports most major debit networks including Interlink, Maestro, NYCE and Star.
